I am so excited to share my new winter scarf with you. I say scarf, but I've been using it as a blanket justas much! I think it is the best purchase that I have made in a while, well since my Longchamp bag! 

I will be the first to admit that a scarf is the last thing I needed. I have way too many, but my collection was missing just a simple plain grey scarf. I have wanted the typical ACNE scarf for years, so when I spotted this one in H&M for about a quarter of the price I felt like it was made just for me! 

It's 100% wool and is honestly so warm and cosy. As a scarf or a blanket! 

I have been wearing this so often recently as the weather has started to get much colder. but this is one of my favourite ways to wear it, thin white jumper, dark jeans, my leather jacket and this big grey scarf. It is such a simple outfit, partly inspired by my favourite fashion blogger, Mariannan. I love the different textures and the monochromatic colours that make this outfit feel really classic.

Study Style

Study Style

So my Refreshers week is over (I spent most of it ill!) and another year of university has officially started. I'm really excited for this year studying Fashion Buying and all of my modules sound really interesting. This weekend I went to the library to get some book out for my course and try and get a bit of a head start on the year. I'm really loving a very preppy style in Autumnal tones at the moment so I thought that I would share my outfit with you. 

For me nothing say cute and preppy like a little collar poking out from underneath a jumper, especially a pretty white one. The sleeveless shirt that I am wearing is from Dorothy Perkins in a white broderie pattern and my jeans are just my favourite dark denim Zara pair. The beige jumper is a new one from H&M. I had the grey one and loved it and wore it so much that I bought it in the beige as well. I wonder if they also do a black...

I also wore my fur gilet for some extra warmth on the way to the library and rolled the sleeves of my jumper up for an extra preppy feel. I honest cannot get enough of my Longchamp handbag. I was such a great investment. I am also able to fit my Macbook, notepads, diary and then all my other bits and pieces in it, so it is just great for throwing everything in.

Back To Basics

Back To Basics

I have spent most of today just packing for Kefalonia tomorrow. We are leaving in the early hours of the morning so I need to be completely ready by the time I got to sleep. But I did manage to get out the house today to meet some old school friends that I haven't seen in months. I have known them all since I was 11 years old and they are a group of some of my best friends. The kind of friends that you don't see in almost a year and then you just pick up where you left off and it is like no time has passed at all. Which is great because we are all at different universities, studying different subjects and don't get to see each other too often. 

Anyway, we went out for lunch in town, Pizza Express, as it is cheap and quick. We are all students after all! And I thought I would share my outfit with you. It was just a few basic pieces that I threw together and then accessorized a little, but I really loved the way that it looks. 

This white top is one of my absolute favourites, and that is saying something as I do have quite a few white tops! But they are just so useful to throw on as they go with any coloured jeans, skirts or shorts and most accessories. To make things even more simple I also wore a pair of black skinny jeans. When in doubt or in a rush monochrome is always a good way to go! 

I also threw on a gold watch and necklace, big sunnies and my slip-ons. And then I carried around all my stuff (most of it unnecessary, I should have gone with just my card and phone!) in this pastel satchel handbag. Which if I am honest I totally forgot I had until I found it while packing this morning! 

All that I need to do now is decide what I am going to wear on the flight. When it comes to flying (especially when it is like 3am) I am more of a no makeup, comfy clothes kind of girl. All I am really going to do is put my headphones in and fall asleep. So I am off to hunt for my travel pillow and a cosy hoodie! Speak soon xx

Today after a long morning of revision I went to meet a friend for a coffee in town. I say coffee, but really I ordered one of those delicious iced chocolate drinks with cream and sprinkles on top! Today the weather has been so gorgeous and it finally feels like I can start wearing all of my summer clothes. 

If you read a few posts back then you may recognise these shoes which I did a whole post on when they first arrived. And if you want more details and better pictures of these new shoes that I am totally obsessed with you can read my post here. So today I thought I would put a summery outfit together with my my new shoes. And I hope you like it. 

As the shoes are quite bold I wanted to keep the rest of the outfit nice and simple. The skirt is one that I picked up last year from Forever 21. It's in a lovely stone colour and a really flattering shape which means it goes with so much in my wardrobe. The little bag that I am wearing is about 5 years old! I remember seeing it and thinking that it looked exactly like a Chanel one. It is a copy (probably not the best) but now I just wear it as it is white, pretty and practical if I don't need very much stuff. 

My denim shirt it another recent purchase (I'm so bad!). I'd wanted this for ages but very few Zara's seemed to have it is stock, so the last time that I saw it I grabbed it. It's quite a thick denim material so it feels really nice quality and I love the beautiful pale shade of denim. I also love the little poppers and my favourite way to wear this is with a couple undone and then rolled-up sleeves.
