I have another amazing magazine mini to tell you about. This Clinique mini lipstick came with with the December issue of Glamour magazine with the beautiful Tanya Burr on the cover. I am a huge fan of Clinique makeup and beauty products so I was desperate to get my hands on this. 

They are giving away four mini Clinique pieces with the magazine, a moisturiser, a mascara and 2 different shades of lipstick, a red and nude. While I love a bold lip for this time of year I still reach for my more natural lipsticks most often, and I really wanted to be able to add this mini one to my collection. 

The shade of this lipstick is Nude Pop and it's just a beautiful "your lips but better" shade. It's pinky with a hint of brown and has a moisturising glossy finish which I love. I think the packaging is really cute, but then I am a sucker for mini beauty products! 

This lipstick is perfect handbag size and great for a top up without even needing a mirror. I really recommend this shade if you love nude lipsticks like I do. ELLE December Issue Benefit Freebie 

Recently there have been so many amazing freebies in some of my favourite magazines so I thought I would share another one with you. 

I'm not really a fan of those celebrity gossip magazines, most of the time I have no idea who the "celebrity" is. But I do love curling up on the sofa with a cup of tea and reading a fashion magazine. I love finding out about all the knew upcoming trends, what's on the catwalk, inspiration of outfits I can put together and making a wishlist of trends and products I might want to buy into. 

ELLE Magazine has been one of my favourites for years, I'm actually a subscriber. And I get so excited whenever it comes in the post. But when they have samples of new products from brands like Benefit my excitement is just at a whole new level! Fashion and beauty - my two favourite things!

In this months ELLE, the December Issue you can find the new Benefit They're Real Mascara Primer. The idea of a mascara Primer is a whole new concept to me. But we prime out skin before makeup, and our eyelids before applying eyeshadow so I guess it does make sense if you want your mascara to work that bit harder. 

What I really lie about this product is that you can also wear it on it's own just as a really natural mascara. Recently I have been loving the "no makeup, makeup" look, mostly cus I have been a bit ill and feeling a little lazy when it comes to makeup. But this mascara looks so pretty and natural and I am actually quite a fan or brown mascaras.  

The brush of this product is really nice and able to coat all the lashes with the primer, even those little bottom lashes. The idea behind this is to wear it under a mascara for even more dramatic lashes. And for a night out it does work. it even claims you can apply your mascara on up to 6 hours after applying the primer. Although I really hate the idea of putting mascara on top of dry mascara, of makeup on top of old makeup. 

So while I'm probably not going to be using this for it's actual use as a mascara primer quite so much (apart from maybe nights out) I will be using ti as a more natural mascara for everyday. A very natural brown mascara was definitely something that was missing from my collection. 

So if you haven't already I really recommend treating yourself to the December ELLE. Not only will your be able to try the Benefit Mascara Primer before it is released but the magazine is great for a chill out evening by the fire. And it features Alexa Chung who is one of my all time favourite style icons! xx

ORLY Rose Gold Nail Polish

Rose gold is one of my favourite colour still, not only for jewellery but also for beauty. I love wearing rose gold eye shadow. In fact I did a rose gold eyeshadow look blog post that you can go and check out here. 

Anyway, you can imagine how happy I was when I received this nail polish in last months ELLE magazine. This is such a gorgeous unique shade that looks so beautiful on the nails. 

ORLY is a brand that I have heard of before but never got around to trying. I was really impressed by the consistency of the polish and how well it applied. The brush was really lovely too although not quite as good as Essie. But what really impressed me was this shade. I honestly can't get over how beautiful this colour is. It is quite natural and not overly bold but still looks a little bit special and different.

I remember when magazine makeup samples used to be a bright sparkly pink lip gloss key ring! So glad that has all changed! Anyway, I wanted to do a quick blog post to let you know about the new Benefit mascara in this months Elle Magazine. 

I've been subscribed to Elle for a few years now and it is one of my favourite fashion magazine. It's just so beautifully laid out and crisp looking. And I love the fashion inspiration and the way high end and designer are mixed. And this one even has a lovely article about the stunning Keira Knightley. 

But what really excited me this month was the makeup sample from Benefit, which couldn't have come at a more perfect time for me as I am in desperate need of a new mascara! I love the packaging of the mascara and the mascara itself is really great too. 

I wore this out the other night and really like it. I would say that it is  lengthening and curling mascara, not so voluminous but personally that isn't something I care so much for in a mascara. The plastic brush was really easy to use and another thing that I love is that the little plastic parts mean it is perfect for bottom lashes as well. The only thing that I would say is at the moment it is still pretty wet, but I think this is my new go to mascara and I can't wait for it to try out a bit more.

Just wanted to do a really quick post to let you guys know about the awesome freebie in Marie Claire at the moment, a mini Ciate caviar manicure set. There are several different colour to choose from but I picked up the grey/purple set which I don't think I will be wearing too much in summer but come Autumn and Winter I think this will look amazing.

I only bought this magazine yesterday to keep me company though a long day dancing at a dance show, and the real reason I picked it up at first was because I had already read all the other fashion magazines in the shop! Sad really! But this is the July issue which I guess means it will be replaced by the August issue tomorrow. Meaning that there is only really today to get your hands on this amazing manicure set. Also I got the magazine on offer for something like £2.60! So definitely check this one out if you can, such a great freebie in my opinion.

Thought that I would do a quick post on a couple of magazines that I have really been loving recently. I am definitely a major magazine reader, ever since I was about 11 and started reading Sugar and Shout. I don't like gossip magazines but I do love a good fashion mag. And even though that I can never afford any of the designer clothes in them I love getting inspired by new season trends. 

The first magazine that I have been loving is Elle Collections, which comes out twice a year at the beginning of each new fashion season. This is just a great way to see all the designers different collections and is a great sneak peak into the high end fashion world. The magazine its self is just so classy and the layout is always beautiful. I think this is the perfect accessory to have on you coffee table as well as it just looks so pretty!

The second magazine is Fashion Cosmopolitan which is massive. I've never read this before but I do love Cosmo and love how their fashion is such a mis of high end and high street. And for fashion lovers this mag is just amazing. It's filled with high end catwalk looks, this seasons "it" trends and so many different inspiration lookbooks, plus there's even some beauty and hair trends at the end. I just love flicking through this and because it is is a mix of designer and high street it is just filled with some amazing bargain buys. I may have a few things circled and on my wishlist already!

So if you get the change I really would try and get your hands on these as they are great. And let me know in the comments below what your favourite magazines are!

Omg! The beautiful Zoe aka Zoella is this months cover star of Company! I love Company magazine and have been subscribed for a while now. It really is such a treat every month to have your favourite magazine delivered to your house and sit down and read it with a nice cup of hot chocolate in the evening.

I am such a fan of Zoe and think that she is a huge inspiration to millions of people out there, as can be shown by her huge number of followers. She seems like such a lovely sweet person and her videos always make me smile. The article on Zoe was such an interesting read and as a blogger I really enjoyed finding out about how she started out and what inspired her.

So I definitely recommend this months company magazine to anyone out there who loves Zoella as much as I do, and honestly, how could you not?
