September Sunshine
I think today was quite possibly the last day of Summer. Although it really was a beautiful day, blue sky, a warm breeze and the perfect beach day.
Mum and I spent the day in Camber, the morning on the beach and the afternoon wondering around the little town of Rye. And even though it is September it was definitely bikini weather! It felt so good to have my toes in the sand and the sun on my skin again, like I was back on holiday. The last few days have felt so Autumnal and I am ashamed to say but it got me starting to think about Christmas already! I think today was like the final goodbye to Summer.
I love wondering around little towns and taking beautiful pictures, especially in the sunshine. We sat outside in a little cafe for a bit and I ordered a chocolate milkshake which I downed in about a minute!
White buildings and beautiful flowers is my idea of perfect.
I thought I would also show you what I was wearing today as I really like this simple outfit and I have never worn this top before. It was given to me by a family friend who was having a huge wardrobe clear out about a year ago. It's a French Connection blouse so I kept it not really thinking too much of it. But it is a beautiful floaty fabric and really simple and pretty. I love how feminine I felt when wearing this too. And as it gets colder I also think this would look lovely under gilets and coats.
For jewellery I wore my rose gold watch and this new teeny tiny elephant necklace from Topshop which I am obsessed with. I also chose a lipstick that I haven't reached for in a while and I had forgotten how much I loved it. It is a MaXfacor lipstick in the shade Pink Brandy and its a lovely fresh orangey red coral shade (poor description I know!). But it looks lovely paired with the white blouse ad simple gold jewellery.
Hope you liked this post and that you got a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather today. Speak soon xx
