Today I went up to London for the day with my boyfriend and our friend from school and spent the day in the sun wondering around Covent Garden and Borough Market. Covent Garden is such a lovely place for shopping and Borough Market has some of the most amazing food place!

But I really wanted to show you my outfit today and I had one of those break throughs where I found a combination of clothes that I already had but had never worn together before! And I just love this look! The idea of underwear as outwear and visible bras and bralettes has been around for a while. I personally don't have the confidence right now to wear just a bralette with out anything over the top, but I do love layering with beautiful lace bralettes.

The light blue lace bralette that I am wearing here is one from Topshop which I got a few months ago. It's not see through over the bust, has beautiful lace details, a zip at the back and a deep V-neck shape. Plus it is in a gorgeous minty blue, so basically it is perfect! I love wearing it with V-neck tops and jumper so you can see some of the lace showing through. 

Today I wore my sheer white shirt with the buttons undone to just below the bralette so it was slightly visible. My shirt is actually a very cheap one I found on eBay years ago, but I don't wear it much as I wasn't actually expecting it to be sheer! 

However now I have found a way to wear this shirt with the bralette underneath and I love how it looks. It's that perfect smart casual style and still looks really classy and feminine. 

For my makeup I went for more of a pinky purple eye looks as opposed to my usual neutrals. But I was just desperate to use my new Naked 3 palette! I think this looks beautiful with a natural lip and a little bit of pinky blushers for a girlie and sweet look. 

Right now I am still just playing around with all of the different shades in my Naked 3 palette but I can't wait so do a post soon showing you some different eye looks. 

Today I also managed to squeeze in a little bit of shopping after the others had gone home, and I actually made a little (actually a bit of a splurge!) purchase of something that I have wanted for so long now! So keep an eye out as I think I will show you that in my next post.

I'm off to make a cup of tea and eat the most amazing gooey chocolate brownie from Borough Market! xx

Crystal Wasters 

Today we found my favourite beach so far. It was just magical. Bright blue skies and beautiful turquoise waters. I wish we could have stayed there even longer but after a while it almost gets too hot and you start to feel like you have probably seen enough sun for one day. 

 

I lost count of the number of times that I went swimming in the sea! I'd try and sunbathe a bit and then get too hot and need to get into the water to cool down. But seriously, how beautiful is this view? I climbed over the rocks at one point and took so many photographs as I want to remember this forever. 

 

We got to the beach pretty early this morning, the earliest morning I have had in a while! It was nice to get there before it go really hot, while the sun was more bearable. We had a little picnic for lunch and then left after one last swim to get some ice lollies. 

 

I got back and showered all the salt off and now I am already in bed in my pyjamas sorting though some of my holiday photos and doing some editing, I think we are staying in for dinner tonight so it is going to be pyjamas all evening now! Speak soon :) xx

Eek! This is the latest edition to my Essie nail polish collection, I am officially obsessed. When I was younger I used to collect things like Me To You bears and Polly Fashion dolls, now it is just Essie nail polish. But the idea of having lots of the same brand thing but in different styles or colour, that I can line up and display beautiful together just makes me happy, and Essie nail polishes are just so beautiful!

This nail polish is one from Essie's Summer 2015 collection. When I first saw it in Boots the other day while shopping for a present for my friend I knew there was no way I was going home without it! It was actually the only shade from the new collection that I was really drawn to. The shade is called Saltwater Happy which I just think is the cutest name for a nail polish ever! 

As you can see it is a beautiful pastel blue shade but unlike one that I have seen before. I think that it has a slight lavander tint which makes it appear a bluey lilac in some light. It's pastel but not too pale, yet still manages to be subtle at the same time. I am just so in love with this shade and haven't stopped admiring my nails since I first put it on. 

I have a few blue shade from Essie now which makes me very happy as I can line them up like this and take lots of WeHeartIt style photos! I have the classic Mint Candy Apple which I think was one of the first Essie nail polishes I ever got. And I still wear this one all the time, especially when Spring arrives and I dig out all my pastel shades. In the middle is the latest edition Saltwater Happy. And on the end is Parka Perfect which is my more Wintery blue shade. This has a grey tint and a light shimmer and is always a lovely alternative to glitter and berry shades at Christmas time.

Perfect New Backpack

I remember being at school and having a handbag because backpacks were really uncool! But right now backpacks, are well, back! Except they aren't those huge chunky black things that have about a million pockets and weight a ton. They are super sleek little backpacks is beautiful colour and new fabrics. 

I had actually had my eye on this blue one from Accessorize for ages but didn't want to spend a loads of money all at once. Thankfully I have a job now as I have been doing quite a lot of shopping recently! Then I couldn't find this bag online and it was sold out in my local Accessorize so I started to panic as I knew that if I didn't get my hands on it soon I would regret it and wouldn't be able to find another backpack that I liked as much. So after work yesterday I went straight to the Accessorize there to pick up the bag which I had asked them to hold for me. And I think it is more beautiful than I remembered. 

I love this blue colour for summer right now, which you may have noticed if you had ready my last few hauls and outfit posts! But this is great as white would just get dirty really quickly and I didn't want something black for summer. 

The backpack is just a plain light blue colour with a really cool texture part on the front two pockets. It's also drawstring at the top with a flap over and it has long adjustable straps and a little handle at the top. So not only does it look lovely but it is also pretty practical. 

I think this will be a perfect alternative to a handbag for days out in summer, and will go with everything from shorts to a skirt to a dress. And I still be able to fit in all of the stuff that I like to carry around with me everywhere.
