Exploring Kensington
On Thursday Mum and I had tickets to go and see the Alexander McQueen Savage Beauty Exhibition at the V&A Museum. Our slot wasn't until the afternoon so I decided to head up early to London to meet Jack, my boyfriend and explore Kensington area.
The place that we wondered around was Holland Park which is the most beautiful park I have been to in London. It's pretty big and there are so many different little areas and secret places to explore.
The weather was really lovely that day, I think I was probably wearing too many clothes! But we sat on a bench here and soaked up the sun in the rose garden. And roses are my favourite so I was pretty happy!
I saw these arches with all of the vines twisting and winding up them and had to take a photo.
I took my new Accessorize backpack which I did a post about a few days ago to london and it was perfect. I could fit so much stuff in it and it wasn't too heavy and I love how summery it looks. I did feel a bit like Dora the Explorer with my backpack on and my camera around my neck though! Typical tourist!
Another beautiful part of the pack that we found with a little waterfall in the background.
After doing a lot of exploring and taking a lot of photos we found a grassy area to lie down and do some sunbathing. And that was when I saw this beautiful peacock strolling majestically around the garden and I had to chase after it to get a photo!
On the way back to the station we wandered down this lovely very expensive street with beautiful big white houses. They sort of reminded me of Made in Chelsea! Maybe one day I'll be living in a house like this! That's the dream!
Sadly I could take any photos of the Alexander McQueen exhibition which is undestandable but a shame. It was so amazing and there were so many beautiful things that I wanted to take a picture of to remember. But I think that the exhibition is running until August so if you love fashion and are able to get tickets it really was an incredible experience.

I'm heading off to work at Joules soon so I should probably start getting ready rather than blogging! But hope everyone has a lovely Saturday. Speak soon xx
