Clothes Show Live 2014
Yesterday I was lucky enough to go to Clothes Show Live with my Fashion Marketing course. I woke up at about 5am as we were leaving super early to get all the way to Birmingham but I did have a little nap on the coach.
We arrived a lot earlier than we thought so when we got their is wasn't too busy and we were free to wonder around all the amazing stalls for a while. Before lunch we went to a student conference run by several professionals in the fashion industry. It was really interesting and inspiring to hear about their jobs and how they got into the industry and I learnt a lot from them.
After a packed lunch (because I am a student!) we wondered around the stalls some more and did a little bit of shopping. Although considering how everything had such huge discounts I was surprisingly controlled and only spent £10. I bought a beautiful scarf, a Cosmo issue with a few freebies and 3 Ciate mini nail polishes (for £1 each!).
Later in the afternoon we got to watch a catwalk so with a mix of designer, high street and student collections. The show was presented by Henry Holland himself and Neon Jungle preformed at the beginning to kick things off. And the fashion show was just incredible with stunning clothes (and men!), amazing set designs and incredible dancers.
I had such an amazing day and even saw a few celebrities such as Lauren Pope, Proudlock and Andy Jordan! But sadly I was too shy to ask any of them for a photo!
This was my makeup look for the day. I did a little bit of a bronze smokey eye with a really natural lip.
Matching my nails with my bag!
And of course I wore my amazing Primark hat. Quoting my boyfriend "you always wear that hat when you want to look stylish"!!
This was a really cook Oasis caravan that they used as a pop up shop. They decorated it so well inside and even had socks and accessories in a little fridge!
Oasis also had some really beautiful pieces and I was loving all the sequins!
This was just another little catwalk show that we saw in the main arena.
Beautiful makeup brushes at one of the stalls.
This stall really caught my eye and I just had to take a photo. The woman said she had seen a picture of a girl do this to her bedroom on Pinterest and I thought that it was such a cute idea.
Stunning pastels
The gorgeous models strutting their stuff on the catwalk. How do they walk in those heels?!
Dancing to Shake It Off!
The show finale
Hope you liked this post and seeing what I got up to yesterday. Clothes Show Live was so amazing and if you ever get the opportunity to go then grab it! xx
